Backyard Bible Club

Rawls Baptist Church invites children and families to join us for Backyard Bible Club, a three-evening summer outreach where faith, friendship, and fun come together. Through engaging Bible lessons, music, games, crafts, snacks, and outdoor activities, children will discover God’s love in a welcoming, Christ-centered environment designed just for them.

Each evening combines biblical teaching with hands-on activities that encourage children to learn, explore, and build lasting friendships. Whether your family attends Rawls Baptist Church regularly or you’re joining us for the first time, we’d love to welcome you for three memorable summer evenings together.

We’d love for your child to join us for Backyard Bible Club! Registration is free and helps us prepare supplies, activities, snacks, and materials for each child attending.

Backyard Bible Club is open to children through 5th grade. Children ages 1–3 are welcome to attend with a parent or guardian. Check-in will take place at the tent located on the back side of the Rawls Baptist Church parking lot before each evening’s activities begin.

Each evening of Backyard Bible Club features a special theme designed to make the week fun, memorable, and full of opportunities to learn about God’s Word together.

Monday — Tie-Dye Night
Children will create colorful tie-dye t-shirts as one of the week’s special activities. Shirts will be sent home at the conclusion of Backyard Bible Club on Wednesday.

Tuesday — Noah’s Ark Night
Children will enjoy dressing up in fun animal costumes as they learn about Noah’s Ark and participate in themed activities inspired by one of the Bible’s most beloved stories.

Wednesday — Water Games Night
The final evening wraps up Backyard Bible Club with outdoor water games, laughter, and summer fun. If weather conditions require, activities will be moved indoors so everyone can continue enjoying the evening together.

Every evening of Backyard Bible Club is designed to provide a safe, welcoming, and Christ-centered environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun together. Through engaging Bible lessons, music, games, crafts, snacks, and outdoor activities, children will experience God’s love while building friendships and lasting memories.

Most activities will take place outdoors as we enjoy summer evenings together on the church grounds. If excessive heat or inclement weather requires a change of plans, activities will be moved indoors so the fun can continue in a comfortable environment.
