Community Thanksgiving Service
Join us for a special evening of worship and gratitude at the Community Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, November 23 at 6:00 PM, hosted by Chalybeate Springs Baptist Church in Fuquay-Varina, NC. This special service unites Chalybeate Springs Baptist Church, Rawls Baptist Church, Baptist Grove Baptist Church, Duncan Baptist Church, and Kipling United Methodist Church in thanksgiving and praise to God for His many blessings.
Service Leadership
The evening service will feature a four-part devotional series on Thanksgiving led by local pastors from our community churches. Together, these short messages will share the heart of gratitude through the theme GLAD—a simple reminder that when we give thanks to God, we do so with Gratitude, Love, Adoration, and Devotion. Each pastor will briefly reflect on one of these four qualities as we celebrate the spirit of Thanksgiving.
The devotionals will be shared by:
- Pastor Kevin — Baptist Grove Baptist Church
- Pastor Justin — Kipling United Methodist Church
- Pastor Brandon — Rawls Baptist Church
- Pastor John — Chalybeate Springs Baptist Church
Each pastor will offer a brief devotional message, not a full sermon, focusing on Thanksgiving and Christian unity.
Special music will be provided by the Chalybeate Springs Baptist Church Choir and Praise Team, with congregational hymns of thanksgiving and praise. Susanna Gaster of Rawls Baptist Church will also offer a solo selection as part of the evening’s worship.

Fellowship
Following the service, everyone is invited to stay for light refreshments and fellowship provided by the host church. This gathering is a joyful opportunity to share gratitude, encouragement, and connection among our church families.
We warmly invite you to join us as we come together in thanksgiving and praise—honoring God for His blessings and the unity we share in Christ.
This community service represents the unity among local churches in the Fuquay-Varina area, including Chalybeate Springs Baptist Church, Baptist Grove Baptist Church, Duncan Baptist Church, Kipling United Methodist Church, and Rawls Baptist Church.
