Worship at Rawls
As a Southern Baptist church, our worship centers on Scripture, prayer, and the clear teaching of God’s Word.
Each service includes a time of singing, prayer, and Bible-based preaching. Our worship includes a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary songs that reflect the truths of Scripture and point our hearts toward Christ.
Our goal in worship is to honor God and keep the focus on Him.
The preaching at Rawls is rooted in the Bible and aims to clearly explain and apply God’s Word to everyday life in a way that is understandable and encouraging.

What We Believe
At Rawls Baptist Church here in Fuquay-Varina, we believe everyone can turn to God for salvation. The message of the Bible is not complicated, but it is life-changing. It shows us who God is, who we are, and how we can be made right with Him through Jesus Christ.
Our faith is rooted in the timeless truths of Scripture and guided by the Baptist Faith & Message, which shapes how we worship, serve, and share God’s love with our community. Our pastor, Brandon Gaster, leads with a heart for teaching God’s Word and helping families grow stronger in their walk with Christ.
For those who would like a deeper understanding of our theological convictions, we also affirm historic Christian statements such as the Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy, the Danvers Statement on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, the Nashville Statement on Gender and Sexuality, and the Dallas Statement on Social Justice and the Gospel.
