Sunday Worship
Sunday mornings at Rawls are centered on worship, God’s Word, and meaningful connection across all ages.
Sunday Worship Service
A time of heartfelt worship with music, prayer, and a Christ-centered message from Pastor Brandon. Each service invites reflection and encouragement for the week ahead.
Children’s Ministry
Children six years old and younger are invited to attend Children’s Church and Nursery, where we share God’s love through Bible stories, games, and age-appropriate activities that encourage kindness, bravery, and helpfulness.
When you arrive at the Sanctuary for Sunday Worship, our team will be happy to greet you and assist with where your children can attend our children’s ministry. Our volunteers provide a safe and loving environment so parents can worship with confidence and peace of mind.
Sunday School and Breakfast
Men and Couples Class
A discussion-based Bible study focused on growing in faith, fellowship, and practical application of God’s Word.
Women’s Class
A welcoming Bible study designed to encourage spiritual growth, prayer, and meaningful connection among women.
Wednesday Service
Join us each Wednesday evening for a Bible lesson as we gather to study God’s Word together. Our midweek service is designed to equip believers to serve God faithfully and share His truth with others.
Praise Team
Our Praise Team is led by Susanna Gaster, Director of Music at Rawls Baptist Church. The team leads our congregation in song and worship through the gifts of instruments and vocals, offering a thoughtful blend of traditional hymns and contemporary worship music.
Men’s Ministry
All men are invited to gather for a time of fellowship and spiritual growth. Each meeting includes a provided meal, meaningful connection with fellow brothers in Christ, and a brief Bible study. Through prayer and fellowship, this ministry seeks to encourage and support men as they live out their faith with integrity and purpose, all to the glory of God.
Women’s Ministry
All women are invited to gather for a time of faith, fellowship, and service as we learn how to put our faith into action and support the mission of the Church. Each meeting includes Bible study, prayer, and devotional time, along with opportunities to participate in mission projects and outreach. This ministry encourages spiritual growth while equipping women to actively share Christ’s love in our community and around the world.
Calyx Ministry
The Calyx Ministry is a Bible study hosted at Calyx Senior Living in Downtown Fuquay-Varina and led by Donnie Simpson of Rawls Baptist Church. This bi-monthly gathering provides residents with a consistent opportunity for spiritual enrichment through God’s Word in a warm, welcoming environment.
Each session includes Scripture, prayer, and thoughtful discussion, encouraging participants to reflect on biblical truth and share their experiences. These conversations foster meaningful connection and help the teaching resonate with daily life.
More than a scheduled meeting, the Calyx Ministry has become a cherished time of fellowship within the Fuquay-Varina community, offering encouragement, comfort, and Christ-centered hope during the later chapters of life.
Park for Prayer
Park for Prayer is a quiet community outreach hosted by Rawls Baptist Church and Pastor Brandon Gaster in Fuquay-Varina. At scheduled times, a tent is set up on church grounds where anyone in the community is invited to stop by, pray, and find a moment of peace.
Soft music and a calm atmosphere create a welcoming space to pause and reconnect with God. Pastor Brandon is available to pray personally with anyone who stops by. No appointment is needed — simply come as you are when the tent is up.
