Sunday Service with Communion

Sunday Service with Communion at Rawls Baptist Church is a special worship gathering held during our regular Sunday morning service in the Sanctuary. On these Sundays, the church comes together not only for worship, prayer, and biblical preaching, but also to observe the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice. This meaningful service offers the church family and guests an opportunity to reflect on the Gospel and worship with gratitude, reverence, and unity.

Communion is observed every other month on the last Sunday during the 10:45 AM worship service. Children’s Church and Nursery are available, making it easier for families to participate in the morning while still taking part in this important act of worship. This service remains part of the church’s normal Sunday gathering, with communion serving as a special emphasis within the broader worship experience.

During this service, the congregation gathers for worship music, prayer, Scripture reading, and a time of reflection centered on the Lord’s Supper. Pastor Brandon leads the church in remembering the body and blood of Jesus Christ through the bread and the cup, helping the congregation reflect on the meaning of Christ’s sacrifice and the hope of the Gospel.

Communion at Rawls Baptist Church is open to all believers in Jesus Christ. You do not need to be a member of Rawls Baptist Church to participate, but we ask that those who take part have placed their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This time of remembrance is meant to be a meaningful act of worship for those who follow Christ, while guests are always welcome to observe and participate in the service as they feel comfortable.
