Women’s Ministry at Rawls, also known as Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU), meets on the first Sunday of each month in the Fellowship Hall. Adult women and visitors are welcome to join the group for a brief devotional, prayer, and conversation about mission opportunities and practical ways to serve others.
Each month, the group considers a mission emphasis or project, including needs in the local community and opportunities supported through the Little River Baptist Association. Past projects have included care packages for local firefighters, gifts for nursing home residents, supplies for hospitalized children, support for families in need, and assistance for Baptist mission efforts.
Meetings usually last about one hour. The group typically begins with a short devotional, discusses current mission opportunities, and closes in prayer. No meal is served, and there is no advance registration required.
