Sunday Mornings
Sunday School at Rawls Baptist Church
Sunday School at Rawls is a weekly time for Bible study, fellowship, and growing together in Scripture before Sunday worship. Visitors are always welcome to join one of our two adult classes.
Why Sunday School Matters
Our classes are centered on Scripture, with opportunities to learn, ask questions, discuss biblical truth, and build relationships with others in the church. Whether you have attended Sunday School for years or are looking for an adult Bible class for the first time, Rawls welcomes adults from Fuquay-Varina and nearby communities each Sunday morning.
Come Early for Coffee & Breakfast
Sunday mornings at Rawls begin with coffee and breakfast in the Fellowship Hall at 9:15 AM. People usually gather around the tables for fruit, a prepared breakfast dish, coffee, juice, and water before Sunday School begins at 9:45 AM. It’s a simple, relaxed way to meet people and get settled before class.

Men & Couples Sunday School
Rawls’ Men & Couples Sunday School class is a small adult Bible study that meets in the Fellowship Hall each Sunday morning. The group is made up mostly of older adults and married couples, with attendance typically ranging from about 8 to 16 people.
The class studies one book of the Bible at a time, generally moving through about one chapter each Sunday. Teaching comes directly from Scripture rather than a quarterly curriculum, with a strong emphasis on biblical truth and understanding the text in context.
The class is teacher-led, with plenty of room for questions and comments throughout the lesson. When helpful, the teacher will recap where the previous week left off, so visitors can join even if the class is already partway through a book of the Bible.
Women’s Sunday School
Rawls’ Women’s Sunday School class is a small, close-knit Bible study that meets each Sunday morning. The group typically includes about 10–12 women and offers a relaxed setting for studying Scripture and spending time together.
The class follows a guided Lifeway adult Bible study curriculum, using quarterly lesson materials to work through Scripture and encourage discussion.
The format is conversational and welcoming, with room for questions, comments, and shared reflection throughout the lesson. Visitors can join at any point, even if the class is already partway through the current study.
Where Classes Meet
The Men & Couples class meets in the Fellowship Hall on the main level, with two convenient entrances from the parking lot. The Women’s class meets in a nearby main-level classroom just beyond the Fellowship Hall. Both locations are clearly marked on the church floor plan.
