Children & Families
Music & More
Music & More is a Wednesday evening program for preschool through 5th grade that helps children learn biblical truth through classic Bible songs, movement, instruments, Scripture memory, Bible stories, and occasional crafts.
Learning God’s Word Through Music
Music & More helps children learn God’s Word and develop biblical understanding through songs and lyrics. Children are introduced to classic Bible songs that teach biblical truth while movement and instruments make learning engaging, active, and memorable.
Music & More is led by Susanna Gaster, who also serves as Praise Team Leader at Rawls Baptist Church.
Music also gives children an opportunity to take part in the worship life of the church. Throughout the year, the group may learn selected songs to share during church services.
What Children Experience
Each gathering may include singing, movement, instruments, Scripture memory, Bible stories, and occasional crafts that connect with the songs or lesson being taught.
The goal is not simply to teach children songs, but to help them hear biblical truth, remember it, and understand it through music and repetition.
Wednesday Evenings at Rawls
Music & More meets Wednesdays from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Rawls Baptist Church for children in preschool through 5th grade.
Children begin the evening with the congregation during Wednesday Service and participate in the opening music. They are then dismissed together for Music & More, with leaders guiding them to the appropriate area. Adult Wednesday Bible Study continues during the same hour.
